Greetings from the new Parent Coordinator for Food & Finance HS
My name is Chelsea Acevedo and I am the new Parent Coordinator for Food & Finance High School. This school year will be my 10th year as a Parent Coordinator. I have spent the last 10 years at the High School for Contemporary Arts in the northern Bronx. I'm excited to assure you that my purpose here at Food & Finance High School is to serve as a help resource to our FFHS families. Coming into 2021-2022 school year, I encourage all parents to communicate creative ideas and concerns that you may have regarding your child's education. My role, in partnership with the principal, is to facilitate support networks and workshops of interest for you.
Parenting is one of the toughest jobs. My job as parent coordinator is to help support and assist you in balancing family life at school and at home. A calendar will be available soon of the workshops that will be scheduled in the upcoming months. Our school hours are from 7:45 am – 4:00 PM. The best time to reach me from Monday-Friday 8:00 am-3:30pm.
